There's a whole town down there.
When the Long Falls Dam was built in 1950, the Dead River backed up to form Flagstaff Lake and flooded Flagstaff Village beneath the Bigelow Range. The buildings were moved or razed, but at low water you can still see old stone foundations. This screen-print style poster lights up what's left of the town below.
Sea green, navy and ochre with bold vintage travel-poster type. Made for a camp, cabin or Airbnb near Eustis, Stratton and the Bigelow Preserve, and a great gift for Maine history lovers and Appalachian Trail hikers.
Part of the Shore to Summit series: Lake Life. Real Maine places, true stories, questionable puns. Every poster in the series is the same shape, so any 3 hang together. Buy any 3 posters and save 15%, applied automatically at checkout.
